Good things come in pairs, and that goes for Columbus dropping not only east coast tour dates, but a video for Next to Me.

The track is a fresh one off an upcoming EP that will feature acoustic versions of their previously released work, to be released April 29th. It creates a new tone and texture for the band, but also reveals a versatility that few would have expected to see. The track takes the form of a fun, pop rock piece, and despite it’s melancholic meaning is a fun one to give a spin. The attached clip doesn’t take itself too seriously, and gives the act a chance to have a bit of fun.

The band may have teased how they work throwing their latest recording session into the hands of fans via live Facebook and Instagram videos, but if you want to catch them on stage and see how they do their best work, Columbus will be hitting the road this May with Dear Seattle for a three date tour.

Saturday, May 20th | Workers Club, Melbourne

Sunday, May 21st | Frankie’s Pizza, Sydney

Wednesday, June 3rd | Black Bear Lodge, Brisbane
